Playing in the snow!

A few days ago for the first time in years, I played in the snow. Me, my little brother C.J., my sister Cassie, and my girlfriend Ashley all took up the task of making a snowman. The reasons for this are.
1.) C.J. had never made a snowman.
2.) I secretly wanted to play in the snow.
3.) The snow is going away soon.

After taking the thirty minutes to get C.J.'s snow gear on, which consisted of a shirt, pants, coat, gloves, hat, socks, boots, scarf, and any other cloth my Mother could wrap him. (This feat would probably of only taken 2-3 minutes if C.J. wasn't taking off everything we had put on him immediately after it was in place.) We then proceeded to finally go into the backyard to create what in our heads was going to be the biggest, baddest snowman in town.

We sprang into action and started piling snow into mounds to begin working. About fifteen seconds into our efforts we realized "Oh crap, this snow is frozen and will never make a snowman." We didn't let the frozen snow deter us from making the coolest snowman that ever lived. After an hour of trying to make the snow malleable with a shovel , and C.J.'s adorable yet completely counter-active efforts we manged to make this. *holds for applause*

As you can see, we have created a masterpiece. Okay, well it was the best we could do. I am proud of our freaky little... snow thing. However, sadly you won't see this in an art museum anytime soon, not because it is not the best snow-thingy ever created but because... minutes after it's completion C.J. proceeded to pummel the crap out of our snow-thing.

All in all we all took something away from the experience. I remembered why I hadn't played in the snow for so long... it's freaking cold. Cassie realized that taking pictures on a broken camera isn't fun. (Our camera's digital display doesn't work) Ashley took away the flu! And C.J. took away... well, everything we spent hours making.

I love that kid. ♥
